    Hannah Basten


    Hi everyone I’m Hannah, your EUEC president. My job is to ensure you all have a great experience in EUEC. We have so much to offer from hacks and beach rides to competing against other universities in the BUCS leagues. If you have any questions at all please contact me!


    Zoe Etherington

    Vice President

    Hello everyone, my name is Zoë and I am a 4th year Economics student, as well as your Vice President. My role on the committee is to help Hannah, our President, oversee the running of the club and ensure all our members are getting the most out of the club. I have my own horse at home, who I event at Novice level and I also ride on the Great Britain Student Riding Team.

    Hi I'm Ellie and I'm this years secretary. If you have any questions about the club I'm the one to ask! I've been a part of EUEC since my first year at uni and loved every second of it. EUEC has something for everyone, whether you've never sat on a horse before or you compete every weekend! We can't wait to see lots of new faces at lessons and teams this year!

    I’m Livy, the treasurer for EUEC for 2017 - 2018, and I'm a third year maths students here at UoEd. My job basically involves looking after the club's money, and helping Hannah, our lovely president, decide on how to allocate it.

    BUCS Teams Captain

    Hey guys, I'm Charlotte and I'm a fourth year psychology student. I have been on teams for 3 years and on the committee for 2 years and I am really looking forward to being BUCs Captain this year and getting our teams ready to becoming winners! I will be organising all of our team competitions as well as training so any questions regarding our competition teams give me an email. Can't wait to meet you all!

    Hiya! I’m Kelly and I’m in my third year of University! I’m lessons coordinator for this year, so I’m the person to speak to if you’re looking to take part in any of the weekly lessons we offer!

    Equine Socials Secretary

    My name is Martha. I ride in lessons. As the Equestrian Social Secretary I am responsible for organising fun equestrian events from Beach Rides to Vaulting and Stunt lessons. If you have any questions or ideas feel free to contact me.

    Social Secretary

    Hi, I’m Laura, in my role as social secretary I will be organising socials to help everyone in the club get to know each other, such as pizza parties and flat crawls. I am always open to ideas so if you have any suggestions for socials please don’t hesitate to tell me.


    Olivia Nolan

    Website and Social Media Administrator

    Hi there, I'm Olivia and I run the EUEC website and social media accounts this year! I also love to take pictures of as many things happening in the club as possible, so you might see me around at your lessons, treks, or competitions with my camera; make sure to smile! I can't wait to get to know all our new members this year and to make the club as fun and accessible to everyone old and new.

    I am studying Chemical Engineering and joined the Equestrian teams at the start of first year. I have really enjoyed being in the club and I am looking forward to the year ahead on the committee. I have been riding since I was six, and enjoy dressage.


    Khadija Khaled

    Sponsorship and Fundraising Officer

    I'm Khadija but everyone calls me Didi I'm a 2nd year IR student and head of sponsorship, fundraising and RDA for the club. I have been competing in the Egyptian circuit for the past four years but horses have always been apart of my life. I organise the sponsorship for the club and help raise money for any events we plan.

    I joined the club in 2nd year after a few years break from riding competitively, and now take Intermediate/Advanced lessons most weeks. As a new committee member, I’m looking forward to getting more involved, meeting lots of new members and maybe even trying out for teams!
